Association helps with new Academy honours board

The Reading FC Former Players’ association is proud to have contributed towards a new board at the Madejski stadium to honour the club’s academy stars. Each time an academy player makes their first team debut they have their named etched on an honours board to celebrate their achievement. Together with STAR and the Vice-Presidents we’re delighted to have added a new board by the main reception at the club.

The first three names to go on it were Mamadi Camara, Conor Lawless and Olly Pendlebury who all made their debuts in an FA Cup tie against Luton back in January 2021. This is the second Academy Board we have helped towards. We look forward to continuing to celebrate the achievements of those who have progressed through the club’s elite youth set-up to make their senior Royals bow.
