The Reading FC Former Players’ Association are delighted to announce An Evening With Tom McIntyre and Tom Holmes on Wednesday 26 April 2023, at the Tilehurst British Legion Club.

HOSTED BY BBC RADIO BERKSHIRE AND FORMER READING FC WELSH INTERNATIONAL ADY WILLIAMS.

This event will give fans a unique opportunity to meet, and put questions to, current Reading FC players Tom McIntyre and Tom Holmes. Both players are hugely popular home grown talent that have come through the Academy system at the club to become key first team players. Despite only being 24 and 23 years old, McIntyre has already clocked up 92 appearances for his home club with Holmes on 107 first team games.

Tom McIntyre signed his first professional contract with the club in the summer of 2016 and made his first team debut the following season in a 1-1 draw with Rotherham. After success in Reading’s youth system he has played for Scotland’s U17, U20 and U21 sides.

Tom Holmes agreed professional terms with Reading a year after his colleague, but made his debut slightly earlier in March 2018 – also a 1-1 draw but against Bolton Wanderers. As a passionate and organised player Tom Holmes was named vice-captain for the 2022/2023 season.
