Doors and bar open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start at Tilehurst Royal British Legion Club, Downing Road, Reading RG31 5BB. Tickets for the event are £25 which includes fish and chips!

Join us on Thursday 2 April 2026 for your chance to meet and put questions to former Reading FC players Simon Church and Brian Howard. Welsh international Simon Church made over 100 appearances for the Royals, scoring 22 times and also netted 3 times for his county. Brian Howard joined Reading from Sheffield United in 2009 for £500,000 and the two players were key players in Reading’s 2010/2011 play-off season before starting together in the following season’s campaign that eventually saw Reading promoted as champions.

Proceeds from this event will be distributed to the Association’s charities.

Tickets are priced at £25 in advance only.
The ticket price includes entry and fish and chip supper.
