The Reading FC Former Players’ Association are delighted to present an Evening with Rob Couhig at the Hilton Hotel on 7 August 2025. This is a unique opportunity to attend the first fans’ Q&A with Reading Football Club’s new Chairman, after he took over at the club in May. Reading fans are looking forward to a new era in the club’s history after difficult recent years and the evening should provide an insight to Rob’s plans for the club, and give you an opportunity to meet, and put your questions to, our Chairman.

Proceeds from this event will be distributed to the Association’s charity, Swings and Smiles.

Tickets are priced at £25 in advance only.
The ticket price includes entry and fish and chip supper.

What is the format of the event?
For the first half of the evening Rob Couhig will be interviewed by former Reading FC player and club captain Ady Williams. For the second half of the evening questions will be taken from the audience.

Are there alternatives to fish and chips?
Yes, if you need a different meal please complete the entry box under “any dietary requirements” to let us know your preferences and we will let the venue know.

Where does the money go?
The vast majority of your ticket price will go to the venue for provision of food. We also have other cost overheads, however we do look to make some money and, after costs, proceeds will be donated to our current charity Swings and Smiles. The Reading FC Former Players’ Association is a non-profit organisation.

Can I park at the hotel for the event?
Yes, free parking is available at the hotel if you are attending the event.
