Reading FC Former Players' Association Present Cheque To Launchpad

Reading FC Former Players' Association raised a staggering £6,433 for Launchpad Reading!

They were the chosen charity for the 2014/15 football season and put on a number of fundraising events supported by their members and supporters.
 
There was a 5-a-side football tournament for local businesses, won by Huntswood and attended by Sir John Madejski. Huntswood got to play a former Reading FC team in a post competition exhibition match and won 3-1!
 
Reading FC Former Players' Association trustee David Woolford ran the London Marathon and raised over £1,800, in addition to the cheque total.

There were a number of entertaining and interesting fish and chip supper evenings with Jimmy Quinn, Mick Gooding, Brian McDermott and Glenn Little hosted by Ady Williams.
 
And the 93/94 champions reunion dinner with guest referee Dermot Gallagher.
 
Reading FC Former Players' Association reunite colleagues, former players and managers of Reading Football Club, help members with social and welfare support and fundraise for local charities.

Amanda Rose, Launchpad Marketing Manager said 'What a great season it's been with a brilliant amount raised. We’ve enjoyed having the support of Reading FC Former Players' Association and all the events they’ve put on for us'.
